The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for providing technical consultation to the Sales team, resellers and customers:
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Assisting the EMEA sales team to capture customer requirements for major project opportunities
• Central resource in Europe for technical information regarding Telestream enterprise products, for both Telestream Sales Personnel and the European Reseller channel
• Present and demonstrate products and solutions to potential customers
• Assess and capture customer operational workflows and requirements
• System architecture design of hardware, network and storage infrastructures around Telestream Enterprise products
• Engineering set-up and demonstration of Proof Of Concept (POC) systems.
• Assisting preparation of detailed responses to customer’s RFP and RFI
• System scaling and benchmarks
• Prepare Statement of Works documents for Professional services engagements
• Prepare system Diagrams using MS Visio or Keynote
• Engage with product management on accelerated development and feature requests required for major projects
• Participation as required in Broadcast trade shows such as IBC (Amsterdam), and NAB (Las Vegas)

• Self-discipline with an attention to detail
• Systematic approach to problem solving and design
• Ability to work to tight timescales and prioritise workloads
• Excellent understanding of broadcast workflows and transcoding
• Excellent knowledge of Windows based IT infrastructure’s, including storage and networking
• Excellent organzian and presentation skills are essential
• MS Windows Office and other PC & Mac skills required
• Understanding of Metadata and the design of XSL Style sheets is desirable
• English speaking required. A second language is an advantage
Experience/Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ experience in pre-sales design or system architecture
• Broadcast Engineering Technical background
• Required to travel 50% of the working time. Most travel is within EMEA however some occasional travel to the USA or Asia may be necessary
• Great enthusiasm to work in a team environment with a high attention to detail and flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment
